The Band That Wasn't
Afraid to Suck

We regret to report that the members of one of the greatest live bands in Michigan have gone their separate ways. Hide From Cleo was an accomplished band for the relatively short time they spent together. They produced two full-length albums, multiple videos that appeared on TV in two countries, opened for Def Leppard, were nominated for several Detroit Music Awards and started a mini-music festival that became legendary in the northern parts of Michigan.

They were also the first band to take a chance and play a parking lot concert for DetroitTailgate.com. It was so successful, other bands began to scramble for the opportunity. Sadly, opening day of the 2007 Lions season was the last show Hide From Cleo ever played anywhere.

Since their demise, hidefromcleo.com has been boxed-up and put on a shelf, and their MySpace page is a shadow of what it once was. All the great music, photos and videos are gone. This page is here to give you a chance to see and hear what made this band so special in the eyes and ears of their many adoring fans.

We created a short video of Hide From Cleo's first tailgate appearance, below, that was nominated for Best Low-Budget Video at the 2007 Detroit Music Awards. Other videos available here include their break-out video for "Rosarito," which aired on CMT and DirtTV in Canada.

Their albums are still available at CDBaby.com.
