Thanksgiving Day
Battle for the NFC North
It's always a pleasure hosting the Packers on Thanksgiving Day, and besides this perhaps being the last time Brett Favre runs on to Ford Field, there could be some serious NFC North implications. We're also happy for the opportunity to host some Packer fans from Wisconsin on this great day.
Battle of the Birds
We'll have the traditional Thanksgiving Day spread, but with an interesting twist. We have a triple turkey death match between the classic deep-fried turkey vs one cooked in a cool new cooking tool we've acquired from Orion Cooker vs one cooked in Al's "Keg Roaster." We'll see how they compare and publish our findings. Three turkeys enter, and none leave.
If you're looking for something to bring, we'll be needing some tasty sides and deserts. Get to the message board and sign up for beans, rolls, pies or anything else that hasn't been mentioned. Oh, and we need vodka for the Bloody Marys.
Bring a Chair
This year we're having an old school long-table feast, so bring a chair to pull up. We have plenty of tables, but everyone should plan on bringing their own chairs.
