Dirty Blonde Ale

Get to the Atwater Block Brewery this Friday, May 9th, and celebrate the unleashing of their newest brew, "Dirty Blonde Ale." The party will be hosted by DJ Holly from 89X. Beer is good, but Atwater beer is great!

If you can't make the Atwater party, don't forget that HELICON is hosting their CD release party at the Token Lounge this Friday, May 9th, too! Hell, why not have the best of both worlds and stop by Atwater to pick up a few "Dirty Blondes" before making your way to the Token Lounge?

Just remember that "Dirty Blondes" don't make good drivers!

2008 Tailgate Season
Planning Party

The 2008 season is rapidly approaching, and we're throwing a house-party on Sunday, May 25th to talk about the logistics of next season. Standard tailgate fare, burgers will be supplied, but we'll need folks to bring some sides (beans, tater salad, chips, etc.).

New and veteran tailgaters will be there, as well as members of HELICON, Slight Return and the Slaughterhouse Live! More info to come.

This Friday and Sunday Ford Field will host the NCAA men's midwest regionals. We won't be having a tailgate party, but we figured you out-of-towners could use a list of our favorite bars and convenient places to buy beer in Detroit.
